Notifications for Expired Social Accounts

Modified on Mon, 7 Jul at 9:35 AM

Maintaining an unbroken link between your Social Planner and diverse social accounts is critical in social media management. Platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and GMB within Social Planner operate on individual token expiration timelines. The access token acts as the linchpin for uninterrupted publishing and content analysis. Disconnection of a social account halts these vital functions, underscoring the need for authorized access across all social accounts. Authorization automatically generates access tokens, ensuring a seamless workflow. Notably, different social media platforms have distinct authorization expiration periods—LinkedIn with a 60-day limit, Facebook extends to 90 days, and some networks lack any expiration timeframe.

Notification Mechanism: Stay Informed, Stay Connected

To keep you informed and proactive, the Social Planner employs a notification system. When a social account token approaches expiration, you will receive timely notifications. These notifications are personalized based on your preferences and the specified number of days before the email reminder is sent.

Notifications Overview

Inside the social planner, Click the gear icon at the top right corner to get into the Social Planner settings.

  2. Account Expired: If the social account token is expired, a notification will be sent to the selected user(s).
  3. Request for Post Approval: For posts requiring user approval, a notification will be sent to the individual(s) to inform them of the request.
  4. Approved Post: If the post is approved after being reviewed, the notification will be sent to the content creator.
  5. Rejected Post: If the post is rejected after being reviewed, the notification will be sent to the content creator.
  6. Post Failed: Should a scheduled post fail to be published, a notification will be sent to the selected user(s).
