Connecting Your Instagram Business Account to Your Facebook Account

Effortlessly manage your Instagram Business Profile by connecting it to your Facebook account. This seamless integration allows for streamlined posting and provides LeadConnector with the necessary permissions, as required by Facebook.

Before You Begin:

• Instagram Business Profile: Confirm that your Instagram profile is set up as a Business profile. If not, learn how to convert it from a Personal profile.
• Facebook Page Role: Ensure you have an Admin or Editor role for the associated Facebook Page. Check your role by referring to Facebook's guidelines on checking your role on a Facebook Page.

Steps to link Facebook page with Instagram profile

Sign in to your Facebook account and switch to the Meta Business Suite.

Click Connect Instagram to link the pages.

Click Connect to start the process.

Toggle Allow access to Instagram messages in Inbox then click Continue.

Instagram Login

Enter your Instagram account credentials (username and password) and log in.

Once you've logged in select the Instagram Business Profile you want to connect and log in again.

This will redirect you to Facebook where you need to click Continue.

Congratulations! Your Instagram business profile is now successfully linked to your Facebook account.

Instagram Profile Type

If you're unsure about the type of Instagram profile you have, open the Instagram app and go to your profile.

Click the gear icon to open the settings menu.

If the account is a professional one it will be stated here.

If you can't see this option click More on the left side menu and select "Settings" from the list.

Scroll down to For Professionals and select Account type and tools, there you can switch to a Professional Account.
