Requesting Payment in Conversations

Modified on Sat, 28 Jun at 3:07 PM

A big part of doing business is collecting payments from your customers. Besides invoices, you can request payments directly in the middle of a conversation using Quick Payment Links. These will allow you to request payment without creating an invoice.

Requirements

To receive payments and use Quick Payment Links, make sure your Stripe account is connected. To do this, go to the Payments tab, then Integrations.

Once the pop-up opens, you will need to fill out a few details.

  1. Select the product from the drop-down menu.
  2. Once selected, the price will be displayed; however, you can update the price and currency by entering the amount and selecting a currency from the available options.
  3. Add a discount or include tax, then view the subtotal.
  4. The Total Amount will calculate the final amount your contact will see in the invoice.
  5. Choose the date by which the invoice should be paid.
  6. Ensure that the "Live" option is on to collect payments. Otherwise, each client will be prompted to enter test card information and may obtain access to your products without making an actual purchase.
  7. Once you have finished editing, click the option to copy the link and mark it as sent.
