How to Transfer Ownership of a Community Group

Communities help you build relationships and engage with people interested in your business, so you don't want to lose control of them if a team member is on vacation or leaves your company. But what should you do then? Let's go over transferring ownership of a Community and help you maintain control.

Head to the Groups tab inside your Communities section.

Click the pencil icon next to the owner's name.

Select the user you want to relinquish ownership to.

Check the box to confirm the action, then click Transfer Ownership.

After confirming, an email will be sent out to the selected user notifying them of the changes.
