Utilizing Smart Lists for Effective Newsletter Distribution

Once your smart list is created, distributing your newsletter becomes a streamlined process:

  • Go to Marketing Tab: On the left sidebar, navigate to the 'Marketing' tab and then to 'Email Templates'.
  • Prepare Your Newsletter: Here, you can preview, edit, and copy your newsletter template. Under 'Actions', you have the option to create a campaign.

  • Schedule Your Newsletter: Click on 'Send or Schedule' in the top right. Choose when you'd like to send out the newsletter and fill out the sender information, email subject, and recipients. Under 'Recipient', choose 'Send to Smart List' and select the smart list you created.

  • Direct Sending from Smart List: Alternatively, you can directly send the email from your smart list by selecting 'Send Email'. Here, you can pull in your newsletter template, fill out the necessary details, and schedule the send time.

  • What if my smart list isn't updating? Ensure that the tags are correctly applied to your contacts. Sometimes, a refresh or waiting a few minutes can also resolve syncing issues.
  • Can I send to multiple smart lists at once? Yes, when setting up your campaign, you can select multiple smart lists as recipients, provided they are relevant to the content being sent.
