Add To Google Analytics Action

The "Google Analytics" action enables the firing of custom events within your Google Analytics (GA) account. Compatible with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), this action allows tracking specific user interactions or behaviors on your website or app, providing enhanced insights into user activity. Suggested triggers for this action include: Page Visit, Form Submission, Appointment Booked, and Order Form Submission.

Add the action to your workflow by clicking the “+” icon, then select it from the actions list.



Action Name

Enter an appropriate name for the action here or use the default name.

Action Type 

View the measurement type being used. Please note that Google Analytics 4 has replaced Universal Analytics.

Measurement ID

Enter the unique ID for your Google Analytics property.

Event Name 

Specify the event name that will appear in GA4 (e.g., "purchase", "page_view").

API Secret

Input the API secret key from your GA4 setup to send event data securely.

Event Value 

Optionally, you can pass a value associated with the event, such as revenue or click data, to further enrich your analytics.

Once you are satisfied with the action configuration, hit save. This will add the action to your workflow, allowing you to track specific user interactions or behaviors in GA for better insights.
